The ELIXIR Belgium node is getting established and bioinformatics expertise and resources from all the partnering universities and institutes are currently brought together into a new entity.

Therefore we are happy to announce the first ELIXIR-BE workshop on 7 and 8 November 2016. This workshop is aimed at researchers in the life sciences at all career stages and is designed for learners with little to no prior knowledge of Linux and command line tools, programming in R or biological networks in Cytoscape. This workshop is open for all scientists in Belgium.
